The sessions offered at Stewart Psychology range from a 15-minute coaching or 'refresher' session to a standard 50-minute consultation. To enable clients to access the service which best suits them and considering their location and needs, we offer face to face, phone and video sessions (telehealth consultations).

Video and Phone Counselling:
Stewart Psychology offers you the ability to consult with a psychologist without being limited by your location, health, mobility or schedule. A video session (using Coviu) or a phone session provides the same service as if you were having a face to face consultation.
A Medicare rebate may be available for sessions (including telehealth). To be eligible for the rebate you must have a Medicare card and a GP Mental Health Plan. A Mental Health Plan can be organised via telehealth as GP's are now able to provide over the phone. These documents can be emailed to me or a photograph taken and sent via text prior to the session.
With approval Work Cover and EAP clients are able to access their sessions via telehealth.
Private health rebates may be available for video or telephone sessions but it will depend on your provider and level of cover. Individuals need to check with their provider.

What you will need:
For video sessions, in addition to an internet connection, you will need a computer or tablet with camera and audio capacity.
If you don’t have the necessary equipment, or simply prefer it, a phone consultation can be arranged. For both video and phone sessions, it is important that you have a private space for the duration of your session where you will be free from interruptions.

All video and phone appointments require payment prior to the start of the session. Face to face sessions need to be paid at the time of the session. Following payment, clients with a Mental Health Plan will have their Medicare rebate processed at the time of their session.
